Forever Legs - A Leaving Cocktail
One of my loveliest and best pals upped and left us for Australia, not to worry though, we will be stealing her back soon. However this post is going to be less about kidnapping someone and more about how we 'celebrated' her leaving us for a new adventure.
We decided to provide a recipe and cocktail ingredients for people to help themselves to... this was not an aim to avoid any hostess duties, although it turned out to be a pretty swell by-product. I wanted to illustrate / design the recipe card as a fun addition to the party and something that Sophie could keep as a memento (it was also an excuse to play). I like designing things and I like booze - these two things seem to fit together rather well. So well in fact, that I may start a regular post illustrating and sharing some of my favourite combinations... winner?
The party was hilarious, cocktails were created, cocktails were drunk and sore heads were created.

DIY Iced Coffee

DIY Iced Coffee
Summer arrives and along with the sun comes my 'iced coffee' cravings. As you can imagine, this can be quite a spendy habit - forcing me to find a cheaper and tastier alternative.
Watch, create and drink your body weight in cold coffee.
Tips:
- Don't use hot water.. a rather obvious one but you know...
- Make coffee iced cubes to avoid that slightly watery coffee aftermath
- Use pretentious jam jars to like the best, quirkiest coffee sipper
I may have gone a little wild with the DIY, crafty sessions recently - if you are looking for some weekend inspiration, click and you can see the rest of my videos on my channel. Please watch, like and subscribe if the mood takes you.

Lazy Sunday Funday

Lazy Sunday Funday
After spending almost four days lay in bed, trying to give an evil chest infection its eviction notice - fresh air was more than needed and necessary.
When I'm tired, sickness strikes or I'm just being lazy I tend to reach for my comfiest jeans, a slouchy t-shirt and running trainers (they need to get some use somehow, I was sick of the longing looks...) and today was no different - I threw on my mac, left my face make-up free and went in search of fresh air and sunshine. We have a park really close to our house, which always provides solace. I dragged my friend for a walk around the park, before crashing in a heap to drink fizzy drinks and read Kinfolk magazine (hands down the most beautiful publication I have ever seen)
I don't think anywhere, any place ever looks as beautiful as it does when the sun is setting.
