A Tale of Two Cities... Mainly Paris 2

What do you do on a rainy, moody day in Paris? - the only answer is to go and pay a visit to Jim Morrison. Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise in the rain was the perfect way to see it. With my horrendous grasp on general directions, Allan took the map and directed us to say hello to Jim and Wilde. Walking around a cemetery builds up a surprisingly large appetite, so we made our way over to La Marais to feast on the most delicious food we could find and people watch.

After lunch, we made our way to the nearest bakery to stock up on macaroons, it would have seemed almost rude not to..

The rain didn't let up all day but Woody Allen is right - Paris is beautiful in the rain. We spent the rest of the day just wandering around Paris, taking in the little book stalls and the love pad locks before finding a cocktail bar on a boat to take advantage of the disgustingly good views.
