Despite the outrageously windy day I threw caution to the it and wore a skirt and scarf regardless of the fact that I would be holding onto them and keeping them down the whole day. I thought I would go for the glamorous 'windswept' look but spent the day with my eyes leaking into my face - such a great look... I found this Whistles blouse in hidden on a discount rail in TK Maxx - £15 down from £120!! Best deal?
I am spending a lot of my time applying for jobs and looking to promote my work so taking breaks always seem to leave me feeling slightly guilty but they are more than necessary. There are certain activities that can make any day a bit more exciting, geekily for me it's wandering around charity and vintage shops bargain hunting. I spent the morning in Harphurhey's charity shops and coffee serving establishments, hiding from the wind with the biggest coffee I could find. I succumbed and arrived home with a bag full of second hand wonders and a few sneaky make up treats, which I will try and show you in the next post if you are at all interested.
I have currently entered a complete love affair with YouTube Vloggers and beauty enthusiasts, if I can move past the fact that my voice sounds at least 10 times girlier on camera than I thought, you may hear me ramble in the not too distant future. Vlogging is a strange concept, the idea of a 'what's in my bag' post sounds ridiculous but the nosy old lady hidden inside me cannot get enough of them. I have one video up at the moment, it's a video from last summer and my girlish vocals do not make an appearance but it's a start!
That is a bargain! Great windswept photo too :D I've been known to accidentally flash a bit of bum on days like this.
