First up, 'HAPPY NEW YEAR' - I have a more appropriate new year post on its way but for now I will leave it at that! My lovely, most loyal Christmas took its final breath at the end of last year, which meant a severe lack of blog posts ad general internet faffage. In the spirit of the new year, I plan to be better at posting (again more on that later)

My Paris posts are almost coming (almost being the main word, I still have about 500 photos left to filter through....) but I have a rather large collection of experiences, which are just waiting to be blogged about.

Despite the protests of my lovely boyfriend, I love this necklace and refuse not to wear it. It makes me feel like the star of a Henry Tudor movie, off with her head and all that.

On the food front Camberwell has truly excelled itself with 'The Tiger' pub. Armed with a new chef and a barrage of delicious recipes, the pub has stepped up its game. Truly the best burger and fries in all of the South, bold yet completely factual statement.

I have been a little bit awol from this little space on the internet - so I thought I would kick things off by blogging the things that have been cast aside for weeks on my desktop.

I recently went on a trip to Centre Parcs (Robin Hood land) with my boyfriend and his family and of course came to the conclusion that some kind of outfit had to be shot prancing around the forest. I grabbed my characteristically un-snap happy, camera wielder and set off to collect some pine cones. I subconsciously wanted to blend in with my surrounding and be at one with nature in various shades of forest.

I seem to be morphing slowly into a victorian child - I can't walk past deep colours, bows or ribbons without my eyes lighting up. I am sure you will see the progression over the coming months, maybe I need a wooden horse to complete the transition.

You can always rely on Centre Parcs locations to charm your socks off, but more on that in the next post. (Next post, I know - I'm planning ahead... for once....)

Feeling Sixteen.

As I waffled on about in yesterdays post - sometimes it's nice to feel sixteen again. I went along to a Minus the Bear gig a few days ago and was instantly transported to my (now very distant) college years. It felt almost appropriate to dress like an overgrown school girl - satchel an all.

We participated in a selection of more adult activities like eating lots of food (bread and dripping - it sounds gross but oh my you have no idea) and lots of drinking before the gig and then continued to visit a few bars and go 'grown up' bowling for afters (I CAME SECOND, this probably doesn't sound that exciting but this never, ever happens)

It got me thinking about what has changed since I was 16 and if I could have ever imagined 10 years ago what my life would be like now. A few key things that I have gained as I have matured is an ability to hold my drink better, I am no longer a strictly chicken nugget and chips kinda gal, confidence, which enabled me to travel the world and place my face in this space, a career plan, lots of ace friends and a boyfriend who has pretty much came along for most of the ride with me.

As you may have guessed by now, I am rather partial to wearing a jaunty hat. I found this at a handmade Christmas fair for a ridiculously low amount of pennies. It fits perfectly with my, you know - 1940s housewife image. I wore this outfit not only to see the new Twilight (with Marie and a whole cinema full of screaming teens) but also to see Laura Carlins and Chie Miyazakis ceramics exhibit, 'Moo Moo Woof Woof'. Although my bank balance would not allow me to purchase a beautiful pot, I did take a few photos of the exhibit but they are on my Tumblr if you fancy a gander.

I was able to grace the tables of Meat Liquor. Wayooo.
