Lady Mug.

Amongst the Festive gifts I gave was this hand painted mug for my Grandma. I draw portraits a lot but when it comes to painting a face onto a rounded object, it's not easy... but here it is and the lucky lady modelling it for me.

Pots.

Incase you haven't noticed I have been massively keen on painting pots recently. This bowl was a product of an afternoon doodling. I have quite a few things going on at the moment - including job hunting for a full time day job, which is going poorly.... BUT when I am sorted I want to take up a ceramic making evening course so I can start making and painting my own ceramics properly.

The bag of many dreams.

I seem to have adopted a 'winter outfit', which revolves of a super cosy tights, brogues, dress and my new bag :)

Waiting under the Christmas tree this year was this most fantastical Louis Vuitton bag from Allan - best Christmas present ever award? I think so. It is a beautiful shade of purple and makes me feel like the fanciest woman whilst sporting it.

I thought it had stayed in the dark for long enough - so I took some photos of it whilst prancing around Camberwell last week!

A little peak at another of my hand painted ceramics creations. I am looking to enrol on a night time ceramics course this year to start adding ceramics to my illustration skills.

Painting lots of pots.

I spent the run up to Christmas making hand made gifts. I went hand made crazy and made everything from cards, gift tags, framed illustrations, ceramics and chocolate truffles. I am pretty sure my family enjoyed them... I will hopefully be able to show you the whole barrage of gifts I made but for now here are some photos from my first ceramics painting session.

My friend works in a ceramics shop so we had decided to get some junk food and cider and spend the night painting ceramics. Wild night eh? It was ace. The first plate was a gift for my squirrel loving nanna and the second plate was for my mum. I obviously love drawing but I also love getting my hands messy so attempting to paint on a whole manner of different objects was great. I am hoping to take a short ceramics course this year to learn how to make my own pots! You never know I could be the next Grayson Perry ASWELL as being a big time (it's going to happen) illustrator. Wayoo.
