The thrill of hunting for a bargain at car boots and in charity shops has always been a hobby of mine and one I must say one I am rather good at. Moonrise Kingdom has struck something in my vintage loving heart. Knee sock and shorts dresses/skirts take up almost half of my wardrobe, most of the time when I look in the mirror I worry that I dress like an over grown toddler... but you know. I may attempt to create a Suzy Bishop big collared, lacy number or lets face it I may not. Yes the binoculars were completely necessary to complete the look.

I wore this to go for dinner (great pizza) and drinks - ended up being very much about the drinks which led to dancing around in the living room at 4am belting out musical numbers. Sure.

  4. Aw, what a cute post. I love your outfit, I am a bit scared of over the knee socks - maybe because they always roll down over my chubby knees!
